Written for a mission trip, this hymn was composed by popular Guatemalan hymn writer, M. Alfredo Colom.Incorporating a habeñera rhythm came naturally. Modal interchanges were added in this arrangement to reflect the changing moods of each stanza, yet the melody notes are unchanged allowing congregational participation.
